Road Trip Essentials

This summer, my family took a 10 day road trip. Yep, we packed up the mini van and headed out for a long drive from Arizona to Utah! With three little boys in the cars for several hours at a time, there are a few essentials that I know we wouldn’t have survived without.

These car mounts for the ipads were essential. The mounts attach to the headrest of the seat in front and then the kids can watch movies on the ipads hands free. No more clicking around and getting lost and frustrated on the ipad.

These wireless headphones are made specifically for kids. They are sized perfectly for kids heads and the volume is adjusted so it can’t go too high and hurt kids ears. Also, because they are wireless, no one was playing with cords while we were driving. Seriously—the moment we had our two big boys’ ipads mounted and wireless headphones on was a magical moment on our trip!
Have you heard of That’s It Bars? They were a PERFECT snack to bring in the car! Very kids friendly, and I felt great about giving them to the kids as you get two servings of fruit in each bar! The kids had no idea they were even eating something healthy! Win for everyone!!
